    I’m a newbie and learning rendering using Vray for SU. Do you a very basic step by step tutorials on materials and lighting assignment, editing, etc. Your helop is much appreciated.

    hi.. i’m an avid fan of sketchup and podium. i just want to ask how you did the exposed sun ray effect on your entry on the 4th podium contest? was is dont in photoshop? or can podium do that? heres the image i’m talking about

      the sun ray effect is using photoshop. i painted white on a new layer. and adjusted the opacity. i alos use mask to remove some areas i dont want.

    sir nomer, nhihirapan ako pagdating sa carpet , hindi ko poo makuha yuun tamang settings. pwede po mkahingi ng advice.

      sure. is the problem about displacement? be sure you have to create group first on the face/element you want to displace. as for carpet, the better your carept displacement map the better. settings are secondary.

    salamat master nomer,nkuha ko n po un carpet using a pillow that i’ve stretch and scaled to a carpet form with the ff settings. bump = 0.6, disp. = 1.5, edge length=2.0, follow up quesion lang po, bkit kpg flat surface pu un gamit ko is nde po parehas yun output compare using a contour surface although prehas nman po yun settings.?

  7. Nice tutorial dude, I really like it. It’s been a great help to me since other tutorial really not sharp and I can’t get a grip with that. I will bookmark this site and should be the best tutorial 😀
