      indeed but multiplier going to millions for me is an absurd. i understand they are doing a patch on this so next time we wont go for millions.

    Hello Nomeradona.
    I did like the tutorial. But the IES operate only with the physical camera ON and does not work with the physically camera OFF as you mentioned.

    If I turn off the camera physics, my render is all white snow;
    If I leave the camera physically connected, the IES work;

    Why will?

      aparantly different manufacturers has different datas.
      For GE, awhich are correct and prefered data to be used you dont need to put that high your intensity. BUt as i have said its better to turn off the physcial camera as it will wash off the light effect.

And why i can’t reduce the brightness of my IES light in vray? I’ve changed the amount of power and etc in the light editor, but no change in render. Sorry for my english..

    hello. i followed the steps but when i render it’s just black. what is the exact IES that you loaded? that maybe the problem. and is the rendering options just default when the phy. camera and sky was removed?

    btw. i used GE’s ies MR categoty on halogens

      2 reasons: i am not really sure what is your vray version. some of the vray version i found you need to increase so much the multiplier in order to appear anmd second some ies data are not exact. so play on the multiplier.
